Today was our "family fun day" at the community water park. All four children had their first rides on a lazy river and waterslides. All three of the older children thanked us for taking them there. We'll be planning more family fun days in the future.
Did you have the place to yourselves? It looks deserted. What a fun thing to do together as a family! Where did you get the idea of Family Fun Days?
ReplyDeleteLaura, these are not my photos. The park district took these on opening day. I didn't take our camera with us. It was pretty packed, especially the lazy river.
ReplyDeleteAs for the idea of calling it "family fun day"--I don't remember. We mostly stay home when N is around, but as the kids have gotten older, I've grown to realize they need a little adventure with us so they'll have some memories of us doing things together.
